Dear Ms. Patel,
Extinction Rebellion, the so-called 'climate change' movement, has morphed in recent weeks from a relatively harmless environmental pressure group into something far more malevolent.
Although it was founded with the stated aim of using civil disobedience to compel government action on climate breakdown, biodiversity loss, and the risk of social and ecological collapse, its recent actions go far beyond what is acceptable in a civilised society.
It is completely unacceptable, for example, to put lives in danger by blocking roads to the extent that the police, fire and ambulance emergency services are unable to reach major incidents in our towns and cities.
It is equally unacceptable that lives are put in danger by flying unauthorised drones at airports and along flight paths over residential areas.
We, the undersigned, demand that you proscribe Extinction Rebellion as a danger to national security with immediate effect, and take all appropriate action necessary:
