Despite the strict lockdown controls that have been imposed during the coronavirus pandemic, both in this country and throughout the rest of the world, thousands of Romanian immigrants are being encouraged to fly into our country to fill seasonal jobs that could have been offered to the many British workers who have found themselves unemployed.
Planeloads of Romanians are flooding into this country on a daily basis to undermine the opportunities of native Britons who in most instances would be only too happy to earn an honest day's pay for an honest day's work, and who have volunteered their services accordingly.
This is to say nothing of the increased risk of COVID-19 infection that comes with transporting large numbers of immigrants - who are packed tightly into confined spaces on aeroplanes - in order to maintain the farming industry's policy of maximising profits by paying starvation wages to desperate people.
We, the undersigned, demand that this policy of flooding our country with Romanians at the expense of the British people should cease forthwith:
