PETITION: STOP MOSQUE CONVERSION OF HISTORIC PUB!
Addressed to: Head of Planning Department, Basildon Council
It has been reported that the historic Barge Inn, in Vange, Essex, has been sold to the 'South Essex Islamic Trust', who say that they intend to convert it into a 'religious culture centre'.
The Basildon Council Planning Department should be aware that this will be nothing more than a mosque under another name.
We, the undersigned, stand opposed to the conversion of this historic property into a 'religious culture centre':
