VICTORY! Britain First retrieves Battle Bus by buying it back from a police auction!
We have some spectacular news to report to you this afternoon.
As you already know, our 'Churchill' Battle Bus was seized by Greater Manchester Police and they cancelled our insurance.
Then, when we obtained new insurance cover, they ignored us, sending us an email saying they were going to 'dispose' of the Battle Bus.
The staff at the police impound in Manchester said that the vehicle was going to be 'crushed'.
We resigned ourselves to the loss of 'Churchill' and started a crowdfunding drive on the popular website 'GiveSendGo'.

Unbeknown to the police, we have friends who work in the vehicle trade who told us that the police rarely crush vehicles with monetary value and it will likely go to auction, so we set about identifying which auction and to our luck we found our Battle Bus up for sale on one particular auction site.
We had, at this point, to keep this development quiet and under wraps, because if our left-wing opponents found out about it being up for sale they would ramp up the bidding on the auction website and try and buy it themselves out of spite.
Obviously if Paul or Ashlea tried to bid for the Battle Bus, the police would intervene and block them from buying it back.
So, we got another trusted, long-standing member to place bids for the Battle Bus for us.
When the auction for the Battle Bus closed on Monday morning, we managed to have the winning bid, and this afternoon, the Battle Bus was delivered back to us!

Thanks to the rules of the police system, we could even end up getting a percentage of the money we used to buy the minibus back returned to us as the original owners!
So, as opposed to losing the Battle Bus forever, as we feared, we have outwitted Greater Manchester Police and now the Battle Bus is back under our control.
The funds we raised to purchase a new Battle Bus were used to buy 'Churchill' back.
Within a few days, Churchill will be back on the road campaigning for Britain First!
What a stupendous victory over police tyranny!
At this stage, we want to thank everyone who stood by us over the last few weeks since the illegal seizure of the Battle Bus in Manchester on 6 October outside the Tory party conference.
Your donations in particular have enabled us to score a huge win over Greater Manchester Police and the Home Office.
As soon as the Battle Bus arrived this afternoon, Britain First co-leader Ashlea Simon filmed a video update for our supporters.
