In the wake of a Muslim terror attack on a Manchester synagogue, Gary Neville, the former Manchester United captain and pundit, unleashed a social media rant where he lambasted 'angry, middle-aged white men' for stoking national divisions.

Neville described removing a British flag from his own development site, insisting our national flags were racist.

In response, Britain First activists unfurled a giant 'Gary Neville is a traitor!' banner at a local migrant hotel protest in Manchester.
