Greater Manchester Police are trying to ban me from driving for daring to drive our Battle Bus with banners that said 'Keir Starmer is a wanker!'
I have received a letter from Greater Manchester Police - they are prosecuting me for driving 'without insurance' on 6th October in Manchester.
This is utterly ridiculous, considering that they are the ones who forced the insurance company to cancel my insurance policy at the roadside on the day!
They have given me the choice of pleading guilty and accepting 6 points on my licence and a fine, or taking this to court for a trial in front of a judge.
I can tell you what I will do right now: I will fight this to the bitter end.
I know I had valid insurance because I have video footage of the police admitting that they had just rang our insurance company on the day to get it cancelled!
If you can help me pay for my legal defence, It would be greatly appreciated.
