PETITION: Ban the burka! Ban this oppressive medieval practice!

Today, in the House of Commons, a Reform MP, Sarah Pochin, questioned Keir Starmer about banning the oppressive Islamic burka.

Keir Starmer ignored the question, but the question has caused a storm in politics and in the media.

The British people overwhelmingly want the burka/niqab banned on security grounds.

The burka/niqab is a backward practice that oppresses women.

We have launched a petition that we intend to deliver to Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood, demanding that there is an urgent public referendum on this issue.

I can’t go and pay for petrol unless I remove my helmet. So what is the difference between them and me. CCTV can’t see you face recognition won’t work

The burka is suppressing for woman, they have no place here in our country. If the government want us all to be equal. Then they must ban the burka.
