Britain First submits petition to Secretary of State for Transport

Britain First has submitted a petition to the Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Schapps, in order to address the inequality in the provision of free bus passes to people over 60 in England.

The petition has gained hundreds of signatures over the past few weeks!

The petition was originally proposed by Britain First member Glyn Xie-Smith, and was started in order to highlight the difference between the provision of free bus passes in Scotland and Wales, where they are issued at age 60, and in England, where they are issued at the state pensionable age.

We trust that the Secretary of State for Transport will use his influence in order to address this inequality.

Many thanks are due to all those who signed the petition, and we will bring you an update as soon as we are notified of future developments.
