Columnist Urges Islamists to 'blow themselves up' in Tower Hamlets

Sunday Times columnist Rod Liddle has raised a storm of left-liberal outrage after suggesting that UK Islamists should self-detonate in east London.

In a piece entitled 'Chip in and we'll help Choudary on his way to Paradise', concerning the release from prison of ISIL supporter and terrorist recruiter Anjem Choudary, Mr Liddle (pictured above) concurred with Mr Choudary that extremists should bomb themselves into oblivion:

Anjem and I fervently agree on one important issue, though. He has urged British Islamists to leave the country and blow themselves up. Me too. Actually, I don't really mind if they don't leave the country, so long as they blow themselves up - somewhere a decent distance from where the rest of us live. Tower Hamlets, for example.

Tongue-in-cheek, funny and incisive, I think you'll agree - given that the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is a hotbed of Islamic extremism.

Unfortunately, media people, politicians and leftist clones seem to have little sense of humour, or irony; their responses were entirely predictable:

'racist', 'inflammatory', 'appalling', 'unacceptable', 'shocking', 'deeply insulting', 'terrifying', 'reprehensible', 'divisive', 'deplorable', 'sick', 'poisonous', 'offensive', 'disgraceful', 'despicable', 'racist' (again), 'insensitive', 'polarising', 'extremely dangerous', 'inciting hatred', 'disgusting', 'Islamophobic', 'anti-Muslim', 'bigoted'.

The insults were hurled at Liddle together with demands for his dismissal - this being the tried and tested strategy for silencing people who dare contradict the official 'multicultural harmony', 'religion of peace' narrative.

Anjem Choudary (below, centre) was released from Belmarsh Prison in south-east London last Friday. He'd been convicted of urging support for Islamic State. He and his various extremist groups were said to have motivated scores of people from Britain to pursue terrorism.

The government is now committed to day and night monitoring of Choudary by 'a host of agencies' including police and MI5.

This raises a number of questions: How long will the monitoring go on for? How many £millions will it cost the taxpayer? Will Choudary be receiving welfare on top of this? And, Why can't we just execute the scumbag?

Anjem is reported to have said he'd love to sacrifice himself for Allah. Let's restore capital punishment and do him and Britain a big favour.
