In 2018 Africans owned 9.2 million African slaves

People of African descent living in the West often berate Westerners for historical crimes of slavery.

Perhaps they should look closer to the ancestral home.

For slavery is still a vast problem on that continent.

According to the Global Slavery Index, in 2018 no fewer than 9,240,000 people suffered under modern-day slavery in Africa.
