PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

I have no issues with people having a place to pray, however, the Lake District is a National Park and should be left that way in its natural beauty.

There are already too many mosques and all the hassle that goes with them, these people think that laws don’t apply to them, park where they want etc
