PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

Why are we pandering to other religions. If they want to pray they can use their front rooms. This is a Christian country

There is no requirement for a huge dominating mosque ruining an area of outstanding natural beauty. Muslims are just 4%! They can pray elsewhere!
