PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

80,879 Signatures
Goal: 50,000 Signatures

ADDRESSED TO: CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

There is no justification for such a massive construction in a national park and area of outstanding natural beauty.
