PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

A school for special needs children was rejected permission in this area, however a mosque has been approved? I call on the council to reject this now

The Lakes are one of the most beautiful natural sites in the west told and I wouldn’t expect a mosque to be allowed to be built there
