PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

Unsightly in design and size. A construction of this type should not be sited in the English countryside. The Lake District ethos should be preserved!

This is a betrayal of a Christian country and its British citizens to build this in the Lake District. It is completely unnecessary and unjustified.
