PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

No need to put a super mosque in the middle of a beauty spot

Totally out of place with the area and I believe only 5% of the area are Muslim

Do not spoil the beautiful Lake District with an eyesore of such as what is proposed it’s wrong and will stop tourists going there
