PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

80,879 Signatures
Goal: 50,000 Signatures

ADDRESSED TO: CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

Enough is enough we already have far too many mosques in our Christian country. Our beautiful countryside would be desecrated with this abomination .

I can’t understand how planning consent was ever granted.

Has anyone asked members of the planning committee?

It’s not right it’s not a British traditional place of worship.

Would any brits be allowed to build a church on their land/s? Not on your life!🙁
