PETITION: No mega mosque in the Lake District!

Construction of a huge new £2.5 million mega mosque in the picturesque Lake District national park in Cumbria has begun.

The local British residents are angry that their concerns have been ignored.

Local British suppliers have refused to work with the builders of the new mega mosque.

We are calling on Cumbria County Council to rescind the planning permission for this unnecessary monstrosity!

We want to hand-deliver this petition to Cumbria County Council in Carlisle.

There is no need for a mosque there. They can go pray in one that’s already been built somewhere more suitable to accommodate their religion.

We don’t need yet another mosque in the area to blight the lakes. There are enough mosques for the Muslims in the areas they live in.

We can’t build churches in their countries why should they be allowed to build mosques in our country
