The Islamic observance of Ramadan, which commemorates the first revelation/ hallucination of the Quran to the 'Prophet' Mohammed, began this year on 5th May and ends on 4th June.

Ramadan is a time when Muslims fast and pray to Allah - and western politicians bow and scrape to ingratiate themselves with Muslims.

Primarily for block votes, of course, but also out of abject fear of upsetting Britain's fastest growing and easiest offended minority.

As for Islam's fanatics, they show their deep reverence for Ramadan by refraining from violence during this holiest month in the Islamic calendar.

So far this Ramadan, only 302 people have been killed in the name of Islam (www.thereligionofpeace.com):

They include a Catholic priest and five worshippers murdered in cold blood by suspected Islamists last Sunday in Dablo, Burkina Faso, West Africa.

'Towards 9:00 am, during mass, armed individuals burst into the Catholic church,' Dablo mayor Ousmane Zongo told AFP. 'They started firing as the congregation tried to flee.'

The attackers - between 20 and 30 according to a security source - managed to trap some of the worshippers, Zongo added. 'They killed five of them. The priest, who was celebrating mass, was also killed.'

The gunmen then set fire to the church, several shops and a small cafe before heading to the local health centre, which they looted, burning the chief nurse's vehicle. ...

Sunday's church strike came two weeks after a similar attack against a Protestant church in Silgadji, also in the north, when gunmen on motorbikes killed a pastor and five worshippers.

Burkina Faso has suffered from increasingly frequent and deadly attacks attributed to a number of jihadist groups, including the Ansarul Islam group, the Group to Support Islam and Muslims (GSIM) and Islamic State in the Greater Sahara.

Naturally, Western politicians omit to mention any of this carnage in their 'Ramadan Mubarak' videos, which vary in effect from cringe-making to downright nauseating.

This Ramadan, when you see the battalions of Allah amassed in your local park or neighbourhood, be sure to 'celebrate' the 'enrichment' Islam brings to Britain.

Because if Corbyn is soon elected, it may become illegal not to.
