Positive media report of Britain First Waterworld protest
A Britain First protest yesterday in Stoke received overwhelming public support and even a positive write-up in the local paper!
Braving wind and rain, we set up our stall in the city centre early afternoon, distributed leaflets and talked to local people about the controversial naturist swimming event planned for 13th April at Waterworld on the outskirts of the city.
Around 90 percent of passers-by took a leaflet or stopped to express their anger and disapproval of the Waterworld event. Stoke organiser Richard said, 'I've never seen such a strong response from the public.'
Word quickly got around and soon a reporter from the local newspaper, The Sentinel, came to interview us. His story, appearing this morning, was pretty balanced - apart from the obligatory 'far-right' slur! (The story has since been picked up by Birmingham Mail.)
