Yesterday, a team of Britain First activists headed to London.

They had a giant new 40-foot banner that said, 'ANDY BURNHAM IS A WANKER!' 

Our team took this banner first to 10 Downing Street (below).

Then they displayed it in front of thousands of people in Trafalgar Square.

Then they opened it out outside Parliament, and black taxis especially where very supportive, beeping their horns.

Then, increasing numbers of police officers began to attend the scene.

Slowly, they surrounded our banner and started to hassle our activists!

They told us to wait until a 'senior police commander' arrived at the scene before we could leave.

When the 'senior police commander' arrived, he told us we were free to lave the scene, which we did.

Our team began to walk away from Parliament Square south towards College Green and Victoria Gardens.

When our team arrived at College Green (below), we noticed two police officers were still following us, but I assumed they were making sure we were just leaving the area (happens regularly).

Then suddenly they caught up to us, and told us we were all under arrest, and began to read us our rights as a group!

None of us were arrested immediately, the two officers had to wait until reinforcements and police vans arrived.

We were all arrested under 'Section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986'.

Section 4A, quoting online legislation references, 'Makes it a criminal offense to use threatening, abusive, or insulting words, behaviour, or visible displays with the intent to cause harassment, alarm, or distress, and to actually cause that person or someone else harassment, alarm, or distress.'

'That person', in this case, is Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

Did our banner cause Prime Minister Andy Burnham harassment, alarm, or distress?

No, of course not - our banner does not fit the legal requirement of 'threatening, abusive, or insulting words'.

Here's where it gets interesting: Andy Burnham himself would have to make a complaint about the banner before, repeat before, we were arrested.

Instead, the Met Police idiots jumped the gun and arrested everyone without due consideration.

Eventually, all five members of our team were cuffed and thrown into the back of police vans.

Four of our team were taken to Charing Cross station and one was taken to Hammersmith station.

All of them were thrown into stinking, rancid police cells, with nothing to read, for the next 10 hours.

When our solicitor finally spoke to each of us, about five hours after first being detained, he said he detected malice from the police officers, like they knew our arrest was going nowhere, so they just left us languishing in the cells for as long as possible deliberately.

After we were all interviewed early evening by two junior officers, they put us back in the cells for another 4 hours.

Time in a police cell (below) is excruciating, hour after hour of extreme boredom, heat, while laying on a concrete bed.

It can be said that being held in these conditions for 10 hours is a punishment in itself.

Britain First leader Paul Golding has been arrested over 20 times during his career, so he is no stranger to this nonsense.

Then, at around 10pm last night, all five activists were released with 'no further action'.

All of our property was given back us (they initially said they were going to keep Paul's mobile phone), and we were turfed out into the dark in central London (below).

They refused, however, to give us our 40-foot 'ANDY BURNHAM IS A WANKER!' banner back, which, considering all charges were dropped, is technically illegal.

Our solicitors are now working to get our banner returned to us.

The video report, released in a few hours, will show you everything that happened from the moment we arrived to the moment we were arrested.

Remember around a year ago when our Battle Buses were being seized and impounded because of the banner which said, 'KEIR STARMER IS A WANKER!'?

Why are British police forces trying to arrest and terrorise everyone who 'insults' the incumbent Labour Prime Minister?

What happened to our freedom of speech?

Are we not allowed to insult Labour Prime Ministers now?

Yesterday's arrests - and then release of our activist team - is a dark stain on our democracy, and our tradition of free expression.

Britain First is a registered political party, and we should be free to express our opposition to the current government without spending 10 hours in a stinking police cell.

Britain First will never back down or surrender to 'Police State' tyranny.

As soon as we retrieve our banner, we will take it immediately back to Downing Street, which is a perfectly legal thing to do!

They think by being 'heavy handed' they will deter us from completely legal activism in the future.

We can assure you this will not be the case with Britain First!
