We, the undersigned, demand that Warwickshire County Council take action to close the notorious Sharia Court in Nuneaton - the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal - that has been accused of facilitating wife beating, interfering with criminal proceedings and taking the side of abusive Muslim husbands.

Sharia Courts in the area have been accused of condemning homosexuals to harsh beatings, ordering a Muslim wife to have sex with her husband ‘even if she is busy in the kitchen’ and issuing warnings that Muslims must not join the police.
