TAKE ACTION: STOP THE PRESTON 'ISLAMIC CENTRE' CONVERSION!

The former Withy Trees pub in the township of Fulwood, Preston is in danger of being converted into a mosque - although the new owners - the Noorami Education Trust - have been careful to refer to it as a 'prayer room' and 'education centre' in the recently submitted planning application.

A mosque conversion almost invariably comes with major disruption to the life of local residents due to an increase in noise, anti-social behaviour and parking problems, not to mention the unwanted side effect of encouraging the development of the pernicious ideology which is behind the child sexual exploitation (CSE) scandals in the nearby towns of Rotherham, Rochdale and Telford.

We demand that the planning permission for this conversion be denied on the grounds that it would contribute substantially to a reduction in the quality of life for local residents for the above-mentioned reasons.
