Tim Burton appointed Communications Officer
HQ is pleased to announce that veteran patriot Tim Burton will be joining the Britain First team as Communications Officer.
Tim will be tasked with various duties, which include taking the reins of the Britain First website and powering it ahead.
Tim Burton has studied Political Islam since 2001 and has written numerous articles on the subject for local and international publications.
He was Radio Officer for the political party Liberty GB in 2014 when a prominent Muslim claimed to be offended with his writings, and he was taken to court on a charge of Racially Aggravated Harassment.
Tim won that case, which became known as the Birmingham Taqiyya Trial, highlighting as it did the doctrine of deceit within Islam.
Tim stood as Member for Parliament for Birmingham (Ladywood) in the 2015 General Election, standing on the Liberty GB ticket of 'Stop Islamisation' (which some say was a brave thing to do in that part of Birmingham). He lost by a whisker against the Labour incumbent, Shabana Mahmoud (where 1 whisker=26,228 votes).
The same prominent Muslim that Tim won his case against in 2014 declared himself to be offended again by Tim's writings in 2016 and this time Tim was convicted of Religiously Aggravated Harassment and sentenced to twelve weeks in London's notorious HMP Thameside.
He has since written a book based on his experiences, which is due to be published later this year.
He lives in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, and his hobbies include the Japanese martial art of Aikido, in which he holds a dan grade (black belt) certification.
HQ wishes Tim all the best in his new role.
