World heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has weighed into the 'Black Lives Matter' controversy with sickening racist and hypocritical comments.

During a speech at a 'Black Lives Matter' demonstration he told his audience that they should stop spending money in 'white-owned' businesses and shops, i.e. the 'white' economy, and instead invest in 'black-owned' businesses.

Joshua conveniently overlooks the fact that his major sponsors, those companies who put their trust and their money into making him what he is today - the likes of Under Armour, Jaguar Land Rover, Beats, Sky Sports and Hugo Boss - are all 'white-owned' businesses.

We call upon Anthony Joshua's numerous sponsors to cut all ties with him and end his sponsorship forthwith.

<p>FOR THE ATTENTION OF THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF UNDER ARMOUR, JAGUAR LAND ROVER, BEATS, SKY SPORTS AND HUGO BOSS:</p> <p>To whom it may concern,</p> <p>I understand that the world heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua - for whom you are a major sponsor - has weighed into the 'Black Lives Matter' controversy with sickening racist and hypocritical comments.</p> <p>It has been reported that he has spoken at a 'Black Lives Matter' demonstration and told his audience that they should stop spending money in 'white-owned' businesses and shops, i.e. the 'white' economy, and instead invest in 'black-owned' businesses.</p> <p>Quite apart from the incitement to hatred and the contravention of numerous laws that this country has put in place to combat racism, Anthony Joshua has revealed himself to be a complete and utter hypocrite.</p> <p>He conveniently overlooks the fact that his major sponsors, those companies who put their trust and their money into making him what he is today - the likes of Under Armour, Jaguar Land Rover, Beats, Sky Sports and Hugo Boss - are all 'white-owned' businesses.</p> <p>This blatant ingratitude represents a massive kick in the teeth for those companies - including yours - who now stand to lose hundreds of millions of pounds in worldwide revenue, and as with all the other aspects of 'Black Lives Matter', does absolutely nothing to promote the advancement of black people in our Western societies.</p> <p>Such behaviour has no place in any civilised society, and should not go unpunished.</p> <p>I demand that you publicly condemn Anthony Joshua's overt racism, compounded as it is by incitement to hatred and rank hypocrisy.
