The Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa in Worcestershire - formerly the Bromsgrove Hilton - has been commandeered by the local council in order to house 140 so-called 'vulnerable asylum seekers'.

Quite apart from the fact that most of these new residents are economic migrants rather than genuine refugees, the local area has been plagued with the anti-social behaviour that we have come to expect from such people.

The local council has undertaken a damage limitation exercise, saying that the measures are only temporary, that it is an emergency situation.

The housing of people in such luxury will only make the situation worse as thousands more of these migrants are poised to enter the country illegally due to the 'pull factors' of free housing and benefits.

Britain First has launched a complaints drive to force those responsible to stop wasting taxpayers' money on migrant schemes and use the money on local British citizens instead.

<p>FOR THE ATTENTION OF: SERCO GROUP PLC, THE HOME SECRETARY PRITI PATEL, AND THE PRIME MINISTER BORIS JOHNSON</p> <p>To whom it may concern:</p> <p>I understand that the Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa in Worcestershire, formerly the Bromsgrove Hilton, has been commandeered in order to house 140 so-called 'vulnerable asylum seekers'.</p> <p>Quite apart from the fact that most of these new residents are economic migrants rather than genuine refugees, I understand that the local area has subsequently been plagued with the anti-social behaviour that we have come to expect from such people.</p> <p>This has been coupled with a complete disregard for the social distancing rules imposed on the rest of us by the Government since mid-March - leading to a deluge of complaints to the local council, as reported in the local press.</p> <p>I further understand that the local council has undertaken a damage limitation exercise, saying that the measures are only temporary, that it is an emergency situation, and that these are vulnerable people with no family ties in the UK.</p> <p>However, the housing of people in such luxury will only make the situation worse as thousands more of these migrants are poised to enter the country illegally due to the 'pull factors' of free housing and benefits, with the additional attraction of a lifestyle that most of us can only dream about.</p> <p>I demand that those responsible stop wasting taxpayers' money on migrant schemes and use the money on local British citizens instead. </p> <p>I look forward to hearing from you at the earliest opportunity.</p><p id="sign_off" class="mceNonEditable">
