Cambridge University Students Union have voted in favour of a motion for banning the Armed Forces from setting up recruitment stalls or attending the annual 'Freshers' fairs!  

The motion also said that the presence of military personnel carrying firearms at the fair indicates 'implicit approval of their use, despite the links between military and firearms and violence on an international scale'.

Britain First would like to point out that it is only because of the dedication and professionalism of our armed forces that these snowflakes are fortunate enough to be able to study in a peaceful environment at all.

We demand an immediate apology and a complete reversal of this ridiculous policy.

<p>To whom it may concern,</p> <p>It has been reported that the Cambridge University Students Union has passed a motion to ban Armed Forces personnel from Freshers' Fairs in case students with mental health issues feel anxious or 'triggered'.</p> <p>It has been further reported that the presence of military personnel carrying firearms at the fair indicates 'implicit approval of their use, despite the links between military and firearms and violence on an international scale'.</p> <p>I hardly need to point out that these students are only able to study in a peaceful environment in the first place because the country has been protected and defended by the dedication and professionalism of the British Armed Forces.</p> <p>It should not be forgotten that many students from the university have fought and died for our country in the Armed Forces, and the motion passed by the Students' Union shows a disgraceful and shameful lack of respect for their sacrifice.</p> <p>I demand that this motion be overturned, and that a full and unconditional apology be issued to our Armed Forces forthwith.</p> <p>I look forward to hearing from you at the earliest opportunity.</p><p id="sign_off" class="mceNonEditable">
