As the warm weather approaches, illegal migrants are increasing their efforts to cross the English Channel from France in order to scrounge generous welfare benefits and handouts in our country - benefits that are all too often denied to indigenous British people who have worked hard all their lives to pay into the system.

Despite the Government talking tough on such matters, and despite the fact that these are mainly economic migrants rather than desperate refugees, our border patrols are still rescuing and escorting boatloads of them to Dover for processing in a system which will only see a tiny percentage of them deported and returned to their countries of origin.

We demand that the Home Office maximise efforts to stop these migrants from setting foot on British soil in the first place, and to put in place a strict policy of turning the boats back to France in order to discourage others from attempting the journey.
