FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What do Britain First activists do?

Britain First activists are volunteers who take part in leafleting, protests, days of action and other campaigning activities.

Our activism helps to raise awareness and mobilise opposition to such things as child grooming, forced marriage, female genital mutilation, unsuitable mosque plans, halal meat in schools, hospitals etc.

Q: How much time will I have to commit?

That's entirely up to you.

Most Britain First supporters lead busy lives and give as much or as little time as they can fit around work, family and other commitments.

Q: Is training provided?

There's no formal training, however, our experienced activists will provide all the help and guidance you need.

Also, we'll soon be publishing on this website an updated policy statement, which will help you handle questions from the public about Britain First and its policies.

Q: Is it only politics, or do you do other stuff as well?

We're currently appointing local branch organisers to coordinate activities in different areas of the country.

We'll be encouraging them to organise not only political meetings, campaigns etc, but also social activities, such as pub evenings, afternoons out, barbecues etc, which help to build trust and friendship and to make activism fun.

If and when there's an organiser for your area, we'll put you in touch with them.

Q: What are the benefits of being an activist?

Mainly the knowledge that you're working to make things better, rather than sitting around complaining about all that's wrong in the country.

Plus, you'll get to meet like-minded people of all ages, from all walks of life.

It's a great way of making new friends.

Q: Will my personal details be shared with anybody?

No, your personal information is kept secure and confidential.

We can delete it at any time, should you request it.

Please see our expanded Privacy Policy for further details.

Q: Do you welcome ethnic minority activists?

Yes, of course. British ethnic minorities regularly attend our events and activities.

Please check out our Racism Statement.

If you're a patriot who supports most of what Britain First stands for, then you're eligible.

Q: Do I have to be a Christian to become a Britain First activist?

No, though you should be aware that Christian values inform our position on many issues.

For example, we're strongly pro-family (we'd introduce economic and social policies to support and strengthen traditional families), and we take a strong moral line on such issues as abortion, pornography and traditional moral values.

Q: Do Britain First activists ever have to deal with hostility from the public?

Actually, hostility from leftwing bigots and Islamists is quite rare, because most people we meet are sympathetic or supportive of our aims.

In any case, we always liaise with local police when planning activities, and they'll send an officer or two to keep an eye out and prevent any trouble.
