Police launch manhunt for Cambridgeshire sticker criminal

Several residents of St Ives, Cambridgeshire, suffered serious psychological trauma last Thursday after 'racist' and 'Islamophobic' stickers appeared on windows and lampposts in the town.

Officers from Cambridge Constabulary's Criminal Opinions Unit raced to St Audrey Lane following a 999 call and reports of grown men fainting on seeing small stickers bearing slogans such as 'Mass Immigration is White Genocide', 'Diversity Means No White Countries' and 'Say No to Muslim Rape Gangs'.

Illegal slogan posted in St Ives, Thursday.

As forensic teams cordoned off the scene and began dusting for fingerprints, police released a description of the suspect, believed to be a white male in his early twenties, armed with a sticker gun.

Residents were warned to stay indoors in front of the TV indefinitely to avoid further exposure to dangerous ideas.

The investigation continues.
