There is a simple test to apply to check if a group of migrants are 'genuine refugees'.

You check to see if there are any women and children present, and, if not, they are not 'refugees', but economic migrants.

What has always happened historically is that men and stay and fight in a war zone and women and children leave to seek sanctuary.

We saw this with the recent Ukrainian refugees, who are over 90% women and children.

But the migrants arriving at Dover and on the beaches of Kent are over 90% working-age men.
