West Yorks Team Visit Elland - Home of Patriotic Sweets and Pub Ghosts!

Sean Pett's West Yorkshire branch enjoyed a great day's leafleting yesterday (23rd November) in Elland, a market town situated by the River Calder, halfway between Halifax and Huddersfield.

Elland is home to Dobson's sweet factory (established 1850) and the 400-year-old Fleece Inn (said to be the most haunted pub in Britain), which is where we met before heading out to neighbouring streets to deliver our leaflets.

Dobson's sweets - in patriotic colours!

The town is representative of the English heartlands where people hold commonsense views and patriotic values, and are likely to support a party willing to stand up for those things - which is why Britain First's strategy is focussed on such areas.
