A new interactive 'Travel Risk Map' produced by medical and security specialists International SOS and Control Risks shows that six of the world's eight most dangerous countries are Islamic.

Dark red on the map are areas where the security risk is 'extreme', including:

Afghanistan (99% Muslim)
Libya (97% Muslim)
Mali (90% Muslim)
Somalia (99% Muslim)
Syria (87% Muslim)
Yemen (99% Muslim)

By contrast, pale green are areas safest for travellers, including Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland.

How can it be that war and violence run rampant in countries tempered by the Religion of Peace^TM?

Frankly, we're baffled.
